WEEKLY TIP: Define YOUR Success!

In my experience, I have defined success for myself a number of different times. It always sounded great, better fully came to fruition. It wasn’t until recently, that I realized why. I was using other people’s definition of success and not my own.

Once I realized that my own happiness included sending my children to the right college, vacationing WITH my family (but not every month—can you imagine?) and spending more money on resources to help build my success faster while I spent more time with my children and husband, THEN I felt completely congruent with the direction of my business.

Does that make sense? I stopped trying to include weekly trips to the spa, leisurely vacations with out my family that take more energy to plan then they are worth, and a fancy home on the hill.

Mind you, I still LOVE to travel and do—but it’s not every month and my travel calendar includes a combination of my family and my husband and myself. I also LOVE the spa and shopping, but quite frankly, I would rather by my kids that cute new outfit and take an occasional trip to the spa!

My definition of success:

Happiness! I achieve happiness through building a business that allows me to spend quality time with my family, afford to take advantage of the choices in our life, and continue to build wealth and knowledge for those around me!
